Manufactory launches “MEISSEN HOME” campaign
Architecture&Interiors is the second pillar holding up MEISSEN’s strategy for the future alongside “MEISSEN® Joaillerie”, the Jewellery&Accessories business segment. Much as it did back in the 18th century, Europe’s most heritage-rich Manufactory is now once again positioning itself as a style-moulding, top-quality interior fitter for entire rooms.
Be it for bathrooms, kitchens or any other rooms in the home, the MEISSEN® Manufactory has opened up new vistas in room design for ambitious architects and interior designers with its new wall and floor coverings in MEISSEN® porcelain, married as they are to its vast repertoire of almost 200,000 products from the past four centuries. MEISSEN® has also opted for a mix of materials in the process. Patterns from the 18th century, for instance, mutate into uniquely opulent designs on fabrics. Likewise, a decorated MEISSEN® porcelain element is transformed into a select piece of furniture by mixing it with premium timbers and metals - just as in 1893, when the MEISSEN® Manufactory wowed the World Fair with its furniture creations.
To support the positioning of its new “MEISSEN® HOME” brand the Manufactory is now launching an in-depth image campaign in leading lifestyle magazines. The motifs, depicting decorative Meissen interiors in 6 different styles, were taken in hotels and at special locations in Lisbon, Florence, Capri, London, Berlin and Munich.
