The MEISSEN® Manufactory presents the most costly item so far in its Fine Art Collection to a group of exclusively invited collectors in Nuremberg today – a sumptuously artistic item of furniture in the form of a jewellery chest that was first proudly unveiled to the public exactly 120 years ago at the Chicago World’s Fair of 1893.

MEISSEN® Italia recently presented its new collection of ladies jewelled watches to a small but select gathering at VILLA MEISSEN® in Milan.

Representatives of Milanese society had been invited to attend along with the editors-in-chief of Italy’s principal clock-and-watch and fashion periodicals.

On its way to becoming the new “must-have”: cute pug from MEISSEN

The new pug necklace by MEISSEN is being featured in style magazines everywhere at the moment. This unique porcelain creation from the Manufactory has been itching to be rediscovered as a gem since about 1740. The pug figures prominently in a new collection that is being produced in Milan by the age-old company, along with its Italian subsidiary MEISSEN® Italia. Set off by a sparkling brilliant-cut diamond, the MEISSEN® pug is now gracing the décolletés of the style-conscious and also of quite a few celebrity icons of style. Read more »

Exclusive MEISSEN jewellery collection for Bild’s “Ein-Herz-für-Kinder” campaign

The MEISSEN® Manufactory is supporting “Ein Herz für Kinder” (A Heart for Children), a campaign launched by the German tabloid Bild, with immediate effect.

We are now taking orders for the exclusive “Ein Herz für Kinder” collection by Meissen - consisting of a bracelet studded with brilliant-cut diamonds and a necklace with a Herz-für-Kinder pendant (18-carat pink gold with faceted rock crystal, €1,950 and €2,900).

Ten per cent of the proceeds will be donated to “Ein Herz für Kinder”. Read more »

MEISSEN opens its 2011 in-house trade fair
