First MEISSEN JOAILLERIE monobrand boutique opens in Germany

Just a few weeks after the acclaimed launch of its new jewellery collection at BASELWORLD, the world’s largest clock and jewellery fair, MEISSEN® has now opened its first MEISSEN® JOAILLERIE Boutique in Germany to coincide with its latest Open Day at Meissen.

The company made a conscious decision to set up its first new-concept jewellery boutique at its principal place of business in Meissen rather than in one of Germany’s larger cities. Read more »

MEISSEN Opens Museum of Modern Art

The porcelain manufactory Meissen has now opened a museum of contemporary art in Meissen. The first visitor was Wing-Kun Tam, the international president of the Lions Club, accompanied by a high-ranking delegation of Lions Club representatives.

The museum shows works by artists from all over the world. These porcelain artworks were made at the MEISSEN® artCAMPUS, established two years ago.

Lions World President wants to help MEISSEN® enter the Chinese market

The World President of the Lions Club, Dr Wing-Kun Tam, visited the MEISSEN® Manufactory last Saturday accompanied by a 30-strong delegation of high-ranking Lions representatives.
The Manufactory’s Chief Executive Officer Dr Christian Kurtzke welcomed the guest from China and then took him on a tour of the “All nations are welcome” exhibition, the demonstration workshops and, finally, the MEISSEN® HOME®, MEISSEN® artCAMPUS and MEISSEN® Joaillerie business segments.
