The Tea-Set of the form "Waves Relief" combines classic Meissen elements with today's spirit of the time. The form was developed by the artist Sabine Wachs between 1993 and 1996. Inspired by waves, the relief plays around the different contours. In a nod to Meissen's tradition and the series' nautical theme, the handles of the cups and pot are shaped as rings, while other manufactory hallmarks can be found in the curved spout and the bud design of the lid knob. The saucers of the tea set "Waves Relief" made of Boettger stoneware in combination with the bright white porcelain creates a beautiful contrast, which makes the "Tea-Set" a beautiful eye-catcher. A stunning Christmas present that testifies to the history of the porcelain manufactory.
