The Saucer with relief made of Boettger stoneware has a special appearance due to its cord edge. This pattern is also known as "court service with cornflower blue border". It was created in 1777 by Michael Victor Acier and Johann Elezar Zeisig and was intended for His Majesty August III of Saxony. The invention of Boettger stoneware goes back to Johann Friedrich Boettger, who developed the predecessor of Meissen porcelain in 1706.
