Höroldt created drawings as models for painting, which, mind you, originated from the ideas of a person who was never in the Middle Kingdom. These fantasies, captured on Meissen porcelain, were to become the Chinese fashion throughout Europe. The original drawings with 132 sheets are known as the "Schulz Code" and were shown in full for the first time on the occasion of Meissen's 300th anniversary.
