The "Baluster Vase" is the oldest piece from the Meissens Collection and dates from 1710 to 1720 by Jakob Irminger. The discreet decoration of the vessel, which has been reinterpreted in the finest white Meissen porcelain and is subordinated to the whole, appears extremely closed and elegant. Its decoration with precious gold funds refers to the forerunners of porcelain art with its noble, metallic sheen and emphasizes the form. The fine sculptured coverings are drawn discreetly in sepia - a harmonious overall composition of form and decor. Limited to 25 pieces.
