Pink hibiscus and mauve purple wreath stretch over the golden frame of the "Wall Painting Floral Splendour" by the Meissen artist Carola Havemann from 2016 in untameable abundance and full bloom. The play with light and dark, strong and delicate application of colour and its perspectival representation make the bouquet of flowers appear almost lively. The three-dimensional effect of naturalistic flower painting is emphasized by filigree, plastically shaped elements. They go into the surface and form a unity with the painting. Each of the sheets is individually formed by the embosser and moulded onto the porcelain. This results in small, individual deviations, which make each of the porcelain pictures unique. A wide 23-carat gold edge gives the refined arrangement the appropriate setting. Butterflies flutter in from the outside and give the work a playful lightness. Limited to 25 pieces.
