description
Isn't this another unique work of art? After all, the hand-painted roses on the brown surface of the slender vase are simply magnificent.
Since the 19th century, the "naturalistic" style of painting conquered porcelain, which, in contrast to the mannerist style, depicted flowers in their infinite naturalness, rich in variations, where all the peculiarities, subtleties and irregularities are savored in a painterly way. The founder of this style, strongly inspired by the Impressionists, was Julius Eduard Braunsdorf (1841-1922). The hand-painted decoration of the vase on a mold by Ernst August Leuteritz is an excellent example of this expression with its gossamer, almost translucent style of flower painting, where the pastel tones of the flowers are particularly emphasized by the soft brown of the artwork.
This beautiful vase is part of MEISSEN®'s "Limited Masterpieces." Due to its timeless, slender shape, the vase is an excellent attribute for a modern or even classic interior design.
