Limited Masterworks Vase Dragon

The limited edition "Vase - Dragon with Edge" shows the Ming dragon, one of the oldest decorations of the MEISSEN^® porcelain manufactory. Hand-painted in gleaming 23-karat gold and platinum on a cobalt blue background, the motif is a novelty. Never before has it been so magnificently and sumptuously immortalized on porcelain in the over 300-year-old manufactory. By applying different gold to the artwork, the scales, sometimes shiny, sometimes matte, show a particularly refined plastic effect. The elegant vase is derived from a classicist design by Ernst August Leuteritz (1818-1893): perfectly hand-painted in its harmony, clarity and flowing form. Thus, the vase fits particularly well into a classically oriented interior design.
The beautiful work of art is produced limited to 25 pieces.
