A limited edition work of art with opulent splendor - the bowl "Päonie Goldbrokat". An old shard from the Meissen archive served as a model for the magnificent peonies. The bowl is hand-painted and decorated with the manufactory's own cobalt blue, which sinks deeply into the porcelain during firing and thus develops a special intensity. A colorful work of art and testimony to limited availability and the very finest Meissen craftsmanship. This is because the decoration in the style of "Indian painting" combines different shades of underglaze blue as well as different painting styles. While the peonies are hand-painted in lighter blue with masterful filigree work, the magnificent gold brocade is interspersed with a darker blue. The 24-karat gold is hand-painted on the bisque surface and appears matte after firing. It contrasts particularly well with the shiny blue painting and gives the bowl a monadic allure.
