1. General

The organizer of the competition is Staatliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Meissen GmbH, Talstraße 9, 01662 Meißen, Federal Republic of Germany. The competition will take place on Instagram on the channel https://www.instagram.com/meissen_porcelain/ and Facebook on the channel https://www.facebook.com/MeissenPorcelain/. The organizer is solely responsible for running the competition. Participation is only possible between 9:00 a.m. on December 1, 2025, and 11:59 p.m. on December 24, 2025. By participating in the competition, participants accept these terms and conditions.

This campaign is in no way affiliated with, sponsored, endorsed or organized by Instagram or Facebook. All information provided by a participant about this campaign is provided to Staatliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Meissen GmbH and not to Instagram or Facebook.

2. Eligibility

Participation is open to all persons aged 18 or older residing in the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland. Employees of the Staatliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Meissen GmbH and their relatives, as well as employees of the involved agencies and companies and their relatives, are excluded from participating.

3. Exclusion of certain Persons

The organizer reserves the right to exclude persons and their associated accounts from participation for justified reasons, in particular if participants violate these conditions of participation, seek to gain or obtain an advantage over other participants by unduly influencing or manipulating the competition or if entries contain pornographic, violent/violence-glorifying, extremist, illegal or immoral content or are not suitable for publication for other reasons. In such cases, the organizer may also subsequently exclude participants from the competition, withdraw prizes and reclaim them. Participants act on their own responsibility and ensure that their entries do not violate the rights of third parties or statutory regulations.

4. Multiple Participation & Procedure and Implementation of the raffle

Multiple participations in the raffle are allowed. To participate in the campaign, participants must meet the following requirements:

-        You are following the MEISSEN Instagram account (@meissen_porcelain) and/or Facebook account (@MeissenPorcelain) at the time of the draw.

-        You have written a comment under marked posts in which you have tagged a third party's Instagram or Facebook account.

-        You have submitted the comment within the competition period from 9:00 a.m. on December 1, 2025, and 11:59 p.m. on December 24, 2025.

Participation is only possible via the above-named platform.

Winners will be chosen at random from all Instagram and Facebook users who leave comments under any MEISSEN posts published in December. Every comment is treated as an additional entry, meaning multiple comments increase your likelihood of being selected. The selected winners will be drawn the latest by 31.12.2025, contacted by direct message and asked to send their contact details (first name, surname and address) to the organizer for the transmission of the prize. If the winners do not respond in this way within 48 hours, their prize will be forfeited. In this case, new winners will be drawn from the group of eligible participants. The same applies in the event that incorrect contact details are provided and it is therefore not possible to send or hand over the prize.

There will be 3 winners and 3 fantastic prizes to be won, which have been produced and provided by Staatliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Meissen GmbH. If you win, the prizes will be sent to you by mail by the organizer, Staatliche Porzellan Manufaktur Meissen GmbH, by February 28, 2025. The winners will receive this item as a prize:

There is no cash alternative to the prize, nor can it be exchanged or refunded. Legal recourse is excluded. The prize is not transferable. Participation through raffle clubs and automated services is excluded. The organizer reserves the right to exclude participants due to false information, manipulation, or the use of unauthorized aids and/or to suspend the raffle in whole or in part if difficulties arise from manipulations that endanger the integrity of the raffle.

The organizer is only liable for damages to the winner due to material and/or legal defects in case of fraud, intent or gross negligence. Otherwise, liability for material and/or legal defects is excluded.

5. Data Protection

Responsible for data processing in connection with the raffle is Staatliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Meissen GmbH, Talstraße 9, 01662 Meißen, Federal Republic of Germany. The named responsible party, Instagram and Facebook (platform operator is Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2 Ireland) are jointly responsible for data processing on the Instagram page and Facebook page where the raffle is held, pursuant to Art. 26 DSGVO.

We process your personal data for the proper implementation and processing of the raffle and in particular for sending the prize.

As part of the raffle, the organizer collects, processes, and uses the following personal data: Name of the Instagram or Facebook account. Only in case of a win, the following personal data are additionally collected, processed, and used for its delivery: Name, email address, postal address (street, zip code, city).

The legal basis for these processing of your personal data is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b DSGVO (implementation of pre-contractual measures and fulfillment of a contract).

After the end of the raffle, your personal data processed as part of the raffle will be deleted no later than three months after the end of the raffle unless a valid consent to further processing (e.g., for sending newsletters) exists and/or there is a legitimate interest on our part in further storage.
