Lena HenselAs Creative Director, Lena Hensel is responsible for the creative direction of the MEISSEN Porcelain Manufactory. With a refined sensibility for the balance between tradition and innovation, she opens up new perspectives on one of Europe’s most significant cultural brands. Together with the design team of the MEISSEN Atelier, she shapes the development of Table & Dining collections, Fine Art masterpieces, interior objects, and creative concepts. -
Maximilian HagstotzMaximilian Hagstotz stands in the great tradition of Meissen porcelain sculpture and interprets it with an independent, contemporary signature. Trained under Jörg Danielczyk, he developed a refined sense of form, surface, and expression. His artworks appear as compelling personalities with an individual presence, uniting tradition and innovation in an expressive balance. -
ZHUOYU HOUZhuoyu Hou has been working as a product designer at the MEISSEN Porcelain Manufactory since 2016. With her artistic expertise and Chinese cultural roots, she contributes distinctive impulses within the tradition-rich manufactory. Plants, animals, and moods of light continually inspire her to develop new design ideas and form the basis of her artistic engagement with Meissen porcelain. -
MARIA WALTHERThe MEISSEN artist’s sculptures are as diverse as the history of the Porcelain Manufactory itself. From expressive animal figures to figural groups, her works always carry a deeper meaning and open up new perspectives on “white gold.” Her aspiration is to make every figure something special and to create content that touches and inspires. -
DAVID TORRESThe Colombian artist and designer David Torres grew up in Bogotá in the environment of his parents’ porcelain manufactory, bringing him into contact with craft, sculpture, and modeling at an early age. His artistic interest centers on the historical, aesthetic, and cultural dimensions of porcelain and ceramics. Since October 2023, David Torres has been working as a Product Designer at the Meissen Porcelain Manufactor -
KATJA ALDINGERAfter completing her training as a “flower painter of rich decorations” at the Meissen State Porcelain Manufactory and working in this field for several years, she studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Leipzig. She initially worked as a designer in the field of “fine-ceramic transfer printing.” Since returning to the Porcelain Manufactory in 2016, her field of work has included implementing designs by the MEISSEN design team as well as customer commissions. For her, the full spectrum of traditional aesthetics and contemporary design on the special material of porcelain is essential.
