Salon Bleu Ashtray 21 x 18.5 cm

The "Salon Bleu" ashtray shows the manufactory's signature in a clear, classic design. Cobalt blue glaze forms the ground for silver decoration. Along the rim, bands of braided motifs and key-pattern elements recall ancient ornament. At the center, the word "MEISSEN" is framed by a rectilinear ornament that lends the piece calm and structure.

The two side rests are finished in silver and echo the decoration. At the bottom edge, the ashtray bears the crossed swords, the manufactory's trademark. Together, these elements combine heritage, craftsmanship, and design, making "Salon Bleu" a functional tray and a decorative piece for a table, a study, or a sideboard.

The design shows how Meissen translates historical ornament into contemporary interiors: the contrast of blue and silver, clear lines, and an inscription that identifies its origin unmistakably. The manufactory has produced porcelain since 1710 and combines this tradition with modern design.
