The MEISSEN Porcelain Manufactory continues to build on its tradition of combining outstanding craftsmanship with top-level international sports: As the official sponsor of the honorary prize for the 2026 Al Shira’aa German Show Jumping and Dressage Derby in Hamburg, Europe’s first porcelain manufactory is supporting one of the most traditional and demanding tournaments in international equestrian sports. With this partnership, MEISSEN once again underscores its commitment to combining extraordinary moments of cultural and sporting excellence with iconic aesthetics and masterful design.
The Al Shira’aa German Show Jumping and Dressage Derby has been a fixture on the international tournament calendar for decades. The legendary course, its special drama, and the unique atmosphere transform Hamburg year after year into a stage for precision, high performance, and exceptional horsemanship. In this setting, moments of particular intensity arise—marked by concentration, elegance, and the ability to meet the highest standards under extraordinary conditions.
Four exclusive trophies crafted from the finest MEISSEN porcelain honor the winners of the tournament’s most prestigious events. The focus is on the iconic horse figurines “Araber” and “Grande,” which combine athletic excellence with the manufactory’s distinctive design language. Crafted with meticulous handwork and finished in a deep, radiant tournament blue, these works of art transcend their function as trophies to become enduring symbols of extraordinary achievement.
“For me, tradition is a gift—an attitude that fosters identity and stability, and one that I am delighted to carry on.” – Ann Kathrin Linsenhoff, former Olympic champion in dressage

The close connection between MEISSEN and equestrian sports is based not only on a shared tradition but also on a shared understanding of values. Precision, discipline, passion, and the pursuit of perfection characterize both the work of the manufactory and international elite sports. For many years now, there has been a close bond with the Linsenhoff-Rath family and the tournament organizer Schafhof Connects—a partnership based on mutual respect and the pursuit of the highest quality.
At the same time, these exquisite figurines draw on a long artistic tradition. Since the early years of the manufactory, horses have been among the defining motifs of MEISSEN art and continue to symbolize dynamism, expressiveness, and elegance to this day. In the manufactory’s workshops, they are created through precise handcrafting, guided by centuries-old knowledge and the manufactory’s own recipes, which have been preserved and continuously refined for generations.
Thus, MEISSEN’s “White Gold” is united with the energy and radiance of international equestrian sports. Top athletic performances become lasting memories—created through craftsmanship, passion, and the commitment to revealing beauty in its most perfect form. With its involvement in the 2026 German Show Jumping and Dressage Derby, MEISSEN is once again demonstrating how tradition and the present, culture and sport, as well as art and emotion, can merge in a unique way.
