Terms and Conditions Winter Wonders Giveaway

1. General Information

The organizer of the giveaway is the Staatliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Meissen GmbH, Talstraße 9, 01662 Meißen, Germany. Participation in the giveaway is possible via the website: https://www.meissen.com/en/winter-wonders, when shopping in one of the MEISSEN stores, by phone, or in participating specialty stores. Participation is only possible between 00:00 on January 20, 2025, and 23:59 on February 28, 2025 ("Promotion Period"). By participating in the giveaway, participants accept these terms and conditions.

2. Eligibility

Participation is open to individuals aged 18 or older. Employees of Staatliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Meissen GmbH and their relatives, as well as employees of involved agencies and companies and their relatives, are excluded from participation.

3. Exclusion of Certain Participants

The organizer reserves the right to exclude individuals from participation for justified reasons, particularly if participants violate these terms and conditions, attempt to influence or manipulate the giveaway, or attempt to gain an advantage over other participants. The organizer may also retroactively exclude participants from the giveaway, revoke winnings, and demand the return of prizes in such cases. Participants act at their own risk.

4. Requirements for Participation

Multiple entries are allowed. In order to participate in the promotion, participants must meet the following requirements:

• They must have purchased one or more products with a total value of at least 100 Euros (excluding shipping costs) from Staatliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Meissen GmbH before the end of the promotion period.
• The purchase must have occurred within the promotion period from 00:00 on January 20, 2025, to 23:59 on February 28, 2025.
• The purchased product(s) were not returned to Staatliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Meissen GmbH, and no refund of the purchase price has occurred.
• The customer provides their email address and residential address to participate in the giveaway.
• Orders made during the promotion period, but invoiced after the promotion period, are not eligible for the giveaway.
• If a customer does not wish to participate in the giveaway, they may opt out.

5. Process and Execution of the Giveaway

There are 10 amazing prizes to be won, provided by Staatliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Meissen GmbH or in collaboration with partners of the manufactory. Participation is tied to the purchase of at least one product from Staatliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Meissen GmbH. It does not matter whether the product was purchased at a discount or not. With the purchase of a product, virtual raffle tickets are awarded. For every 100 Euros spent (gross price), one raffle ticket is awarded. Therefore, from a purchase value of 100 Euros, participants can take part in the giveaway.

MEISSEN will randomly select the winners by April 30, 2025, and contact them via email or postal mail to notify them of their prize. If winners of secondary prizes do not respond within two weeks after being notified of their win, by email or phone, to indicate which secondary prize they choose, their prize will be forfeited. In this case, new winners will be drawn from the pool of eligible participants. The same applies if incorrect contact details are provided and delivery of the prize is not possible.

6. Prizes

Main Prizes (Places 1-3):

• 1st Prize: "1x Mystic Maison Service worth 3500 Euros including private dinner"
• 2nd Prize: "2x Box Seats for the Semper Opera Ball 2026 in Dresden"
• 3rd Prize: "1x Weekend at the Naturresort & Spa Schindelbruch"

The winners of the main prizes cannot choose between the individual prizes – the allocation will be made randomly.

Secondary Prizes (Places 4-10):

• MEISSEN2Go Coffee to Go cups with sleeve, set of 2, design selectable
• MEISSEN Big Mug, set of 2, designs available
• Espresso cup set Mystic Maison

Winners in places 4 to 10 can freely choose one of the secondary prizes.

The entity responsible for processing data in connection with the giveaway is Staatliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Meissen GmbH, Talstraße 9, 01662 Meißen, Germany. The named responsible entity is responsible for internal data processing.

We process your personal data to properly conduct and manage the giveaway and, in particular, to send out the prize.

Terms and Conditions New Year's Giveaway 2024/25

1. General Information

The organizer of the giveaway is Staatliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Meissen GmbH, Talstraße 9, 01662 Meißen, Germany. The giveaway takes place exclusively on the Instagram page https://www.instagram.com/meissen_porcelain/. Participation is only possible between 00:01 on December 16, 2024, and 23:59 on January 31, 2025. By participating in the giveaway, participants accept these terms and conditions.

This promotion is not affiliated with Instagram and is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or organized by Instagram. All information provided by a participant in connection with this promotion will be provided to Staatliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Meissen GmbH, not Instagram.

2. Eligibility

Participation is open to individuals aged 18 or older, with residence in the EU and/or Switzerland. Employees of Staatliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Meissen GmbH and their relatives, as well as employees of involved agencies and companies and their relatives, are excluded from participation.

3. Exclusion of Certain Participants

The organizer reserves the right to exclude individuals and their accounts from participation for justified reasons, particularly if participants violate these terms and conditions, attempt to influence or manipulate the giveaway, or if their posts contain pornographic, violent, extremist, illegal, or inappropriate content. The organizer may also retroactively exclude participants from the giveaway, revoke winnings, and demand the return of prizes. Participants are responsible for their actions and ensure that their posts do not violate third-party rights or legal regulations.

4. Multiple Entries & Giveaway Process

Multiple entries are allowed. To participate, participants must meet the following conditions:

• Follow the MEISSEN Instagram account (@meissen_porcelain) at the time of the draw
• Comment under the designated posts, tagging a third person's Instagram account
• Submit the comment within the giveaway period from 00:01 on December 16, 2024, to 23:59 on January 31, 2025.

Participation is only possible via the above platform.

MEISSEN will randomly select the winners from all Instagram users. The selected winners will be drawn by February 14, 2025, contacted via Direct Message, and asked to provide their contact details (first name, last name, and address) for prize delivery. If the winners do not respond within 48 hours, their prize will be forfeited, and new winners will be selected. The same applies if incorrect contact details are provided and prize delivery is not possible.

There are 13 amazing prizes to be won, provided by Staatliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Meissen GmbH. Winners cannot choose between prizes – the allocation will be made randomly. In case of winning, prizes will be mailed to the winners by March 14, 2025. The prizes include:

Cash redemption, exchanges, or refunds are not possible. Legal recourse is excluded. The prize is non-transferable. Participation through giveaway clubs and automated services is excluded. The organizer reserves the right to exclude participants due to false information, manipulations, or the use of unauthorized means, and/or suspend the giveaway entirely or partially if manipulations cause difficulties that jeopardize the integrity of the giveaway.

For damages caused to the winner due to material and/or legal defects, the organizer is only liable in cases of fraud, intent, or gross negligence. Otherwise, liability for material and/or legal defects is excluded.

5. Data Privacy

The entity responsible for data processing in connection with the giveaway is Staatliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Meissen GmbH, Talstraße 9, 01662 Meißen, Germany. The named responsible entity is jointly responsible for data processing on the Instagram page with Instagram (Platform operator: Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland) in accordance with Art. 26 GDPR.

We process your personal data to properly conduct and manage the giveaway and, in particular, to send out the prize.

During the giveaway, the organizer will collect, process, and use the following personal data: Instagram account name. Only in the case of winning, the following personal data will be collected, processed, and used for delivery: Name, email address, postal address (street, postal code, city).

The legal basis for these data processing activities is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of pre-contractual measures and fulfillment of a contract).

After the giveaway concludes, the personal data processed during the giveaway will be deleted within three months, unless valid consent for further processing (e.g., for newsletter distribution) is given and/or we have a legitimate interest in retaining the data.
