Edifice Bowl with gold-colored handles and stripes, H 16 cm

The bowl from the "Edifice" collection, designed by Bodo Sperlein, combines MEISSEN's centuries-old craftsmanship with a clear, architecturally inspired design language. Standing 16 cm high, the bowl has a compact yet sculptural presence. Its softly rounded porcelain body is framed by a fine gold-toned rim, giving the piece a precise and elegant contour.

Especially distinctive are the gold-toned handles, which Bodo Sperlein removes from their traditional function and transforms into supporting handle-feet. They visibly elevate the bowl above the surface and give it a striking structural character. Vertical gold lines continue this concept, structuring the white porcelain body and linking the decorative elements with the architectural idea behind the design.

Precise, functional, and unexpected, "Edifice" reinterprets familiar elements of porcelain design in a contemporary way.
