Already before 1900, the glazing technique of the artwork was used and further developed by the MEISSEN® porcelain painter Emil Paul Börner in the 1920s and 1930s in the style of Art Deco to create fantastic paintings. The combination between crystal glazes and hand painting, as used for the mural, represents a completely new development and results in one or two unique pieces. The cold icy mood can hardly be represented better than on this mural. The painting "Polar Bear", hand painted, shows masterful Meissener attention to detail. Hand-painted combine expertise and creativity in the breathtaking unique piece to the magical work of art.
