Terms and conditions for participation in the “Winter Wonders” raffle

1. General information

The organizer of the raffle is Staatliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Meissen GmbH, Talstraße 9, 01662 Meissen, Federal Republic of Germany. Participation in the raffle is possible via the website: https://www.meissen.com/en/winter-wonders, when shopping in one of the MEISSEN stores, by telephone, or in participating specialist retailers. Participation is only possible during the period from 01/15/2026 at 12:00 a.m. 02/28/2026 at 11:59 p.m. (“promotional period”). By participating in the raffle, participants accept these terms and conditions.

2. Eligibility

Any natural person aged 18 or over is eligible to participate. Employees of Staatliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Meissen GmbH and their relatives, as well as employees of the participating agencies and companies and their relatives, are excluded from participation. Corporate customers of Staatliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Meissen GmbH are also excluded from participating in the raffle.

3. Exclusion of certain persons

The organizer is entitled to exclude persons from participation for justified reasons, in particular if participants violate these conditions of participation, gain or attempt to gain an advantage over other participants through improper influence or manipulation of the raffle. In such cases, the organizer may also exclude participants from the raffle retrospectively, revoke prizes, and reclaim them. Participants act on their own responsibility.

4. Conditions of participation

Multiple entries in the raffle are permitted. To participate in the promotion, participants must meet all of the following conditions:

- They must have purchased one or more products with a purchase value of at least €100 (excluding shipping costs) from Staatliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Meissen GmbH before the end of the promotional period.

-        The purchase must have been made during the promotion period from January 15, 2026, at 12:00 a.m. to February 28, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.

- In the event of a reversal of the purchase (return/cancellation), the customer is no longer eligible to participate.

- To participate in the raffle, the customer must provide their email address and residential address.

5. Procedure and implementation of the raffle

There are 10 fantastic prizes to be won, which are produced by Staatliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Meissen GmbH or provided in cooperation with partners of the manufactory. Participation in the raffle is linked to the purchase of at least one product from Staatliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Meissen GmbH. It does not matter whether the product was purchased at a discount or not. The purchase of the product is linked to the allocation of virtual lottery tickets. One ticket is allocated for every 100 euros spent (excluding shipping costs). This means that purchases worth 100 euros or more are eligible to participate in the raffle.

MEISSEN will select the winners at random by April 30, 2026, and contact them by email or post to inform them of their prize. If the winners of a secondary prize do not indicate which secondary prize they have chosen by email or telephone within two weeks of being notified of their win, their prize will be forfeited. In this case, new winners will be drawn from the pool of eligible participants. The same applies if incorrect contact details are provided and it is therefore not possible to send or hand over the prize.

6. Prizes

The main prizes (places 1-3) are as follows:

1st prize: “1x Vitruv Platinum service for 6 people worth €6,000, including a private dinner”

- The dinner will be served in the winner's apartment or house

-    The menu will be prepared by a renowned chef at the winner's premises

-    The dinner will be served on Vitruv Platinum tableware from Staatliche Porzellan Manufaktur Meissen GmbH and thus presented to the winner

-    The chef is only available for winners in Germany

- In order to claim this prize, the winner must agree to the private dinner being accompanied by photo and video recordings for the social media channels of Staatliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Meissen GmbH.

- This prize can only be claimed as a combination of a private dinner and service. A cash payment or delivery of the service alone is excluded.

- If the winner is unable or unwilling to claim the prize under the above conditions, the prize will be forfeited and a new winner will be drawn.

The winners of the main prizes cannot choose between the individual prizes—the draw will be made at random.

If the winners are unable to accept the main prizes, they will alternatively receive a MEISSEN voucher worth €2,500.

Prizes 4-10:

The following are the secondary prizes awarded for places 4 to 10:

-        MEISSEN2Go Coffee to go mug with sleeve, set of 2, choice of decoration (customization excluded)

-        MEISSEN Big Mug, set of 2, existing designs available (customization not possible)

-        Espresso cup set The Original (item no.: 79B500-C3617-1)

The winners of places 4 to 10 can choose one of the prizes mentioned above. If a winner does not provide the information required to process the prize (and, if necessary, make their selection) within two weeks of receiving the prize notification, the prize will be forfeited.

Cash payment of the prize, exchange, or refund are not possible. Legal recourse is excluded. The prize is non-transferable. Participation via raffle clubs and automated services is excluded. The organizer reserves the right to exclude participants from the raffle due to false information, manipulation, or the use of unauthorized aids and/or to suspend the raffle in whole or in part if manipulation causes difficulties that jeopardize the integrity of the raffle.

The organizer is only liable for damages incurred by the winner due to material defects and/or defects of title in cases of malice, intent, or gross negligence. Otherwise, liability for material defects and/or defects of title is excluded.

7. Data protection

Staatliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Meissen GmbH, Talstraße 9, 01662 Meißen, Federal Republic of Germany, is responsible for data processing in connection with the raffle. The designated controller is responsible for internal data processing. 

We process your personal data for the proper execution and handling of the raffle and, in particular, for sending the prize.

Within the scope of the raffle, the organizer collects, processes, and uses the following personal data: name, email address, postal address (street, postal code, city), and telephone number. If a product from Staatliche Porzellanmanufaktur Meissen GmbH has been purchased from a specialist retailer, participants in the raffle consent to their personal data being passed on by the respective retailer to Staatliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Meissen GmbH for the purpose of participating in the raffle.

The legal basis for this processing of your personal data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR (implementation of pre-contractual measures and fulfillment of a contract).

After the end of the raffle, your personal data processed in the context of the raffle will be deleted no later than three months after the end of the raffle, unless there is valid consent for further processing (e.g. with regard to the newsletter dispatch) and/or we have a legitimate interest in further storage.
