Edifice Vase with handle Golden Stripes H 18 cm

The Pumpkin Vase from the "Edifice" collection, designed by Bodo Sperlein, brings together MEISSEN's centuries-old craftsmanship with an unexpectedly architectural design language. Standing 18 cm high, the vase is crafted from white Meissen porcelain and has a compact, sculptural presence. Its softly rounded, stacked volumes reinterpret the distinctive silhouette of the traditional pumpkin vase, while precisely placed gold accents lend the form structure and definition.

The gold-toned handles are especially striking. Bodo Sperlein reimagines them far beyond their conventional function: they frame the porcelain body, connect the individual sections, and extend toward the base, where they become feet and structural design elements. Ornament and function merge into a singular, highly distinctive composition.

Precise, functional, and unexpected, "Edifice" offers a contemporary interpretation of familiar elements of porcelain design. Bodo Sperlein combines the technical precision of Meissen porcelain with a modern design vocabulary, transforming the 18 cm Pumpkin Vase into a distinctive design object with sculptural presence and unmistakable character.
