Limited Masterworks Lidded Vase Fish

The "Lid Vase Fishes" made of MEISSEN^® porcelain depicts a school of floating fish, following the flow of masterful brushwork and the flowing form of the opulent lidded vase. The elegant fish painting in cobalt blue is based on designs by Otto Eduard Voigt from the end of the 19th century. Maritime motifs by the artist were also the inspiration for the thematically matching "MEISSEN^® Cosmopolitan Blue Treasures" dinner service. A hand-painted underwater world full of fascination, romance or longing. The 63 cm high MEISSEN^® vase shape of the "Lidded Vase Fish" was created in 1912, and now serves as a projection surface of the maritime theme for the "Limited Masterpieces". In this way, MEISSEN^® brings a maritime-summery ambience combined with the highest quality standards of filigree craftsmanship to its own interiors.
The hand-painted "Lid Vase Fish" is produced in a limited edition of 25 pieces.
