Exclusive Collection Vase Snowball Blossoms

Snowball blossoms with symbolic power: eternal spring. This white lidded vase, measuring 53 cm in height, translates this poetic illusion into an especially elegant form. Its surface is completely covered with delicate, sculpturally rendered blossoms, making the porcelain appear like a sea of snowball flowers-pure, light, and timelessly beautiful.

In meticulous handcraftsmanship, not only are the individual snowball blossoms shaped and applied by MEISSEN's modelers, but the finely detailed branches and birds are also sculpted and arranged around the vase. The result is a lively interplay of blossoms, branches, and cheerful little birds, transforming the vase into a three-dimensional scene of spring awakening.

This elaborate decorative technique dates back to Johann Joachim Kaendler, who first used it in 1739 for service vessels commissioned by the Saxon Electress. In this way, the snowball blossom receives a second existence in Meissen porcelain: as delicate and white as in spring, yet everlasting.
