description
The Dejeuner masterfully combines two aspects of MEISSEN® porcelain art: shaping and painting. Johann Friedrich Eberlein created the shape around 1740 for Friedrich August von Brandenstein. With a new décor, the dinner service, limited edition, celebrates its comeback.
The Dejeuner includes two cups with saucers, three dinner plates, sugar bowl, milk and coffee pot and serving tray. The reliefs of the dinner service remain undecorated. The fine box decoration gets an almost three-dimensional effect. The green, hand-painted in two layers, is outlined by black lines. Delicately, the purple bouquet of flowers is hand-painted in the old manner. The flowers growing over the rim enliven the decor with splashes of color. Limited.
