Limited Masterworks Snuff Box Hunting Scenes

The box "Tabatiere Jagdszenen" was created from a pattern by Johann Elias Ridinger, one of the most famous animal artists of the 18th century. Already during his lifetime, copperplate engravings of him reached Meissen and have served as templates and inspiration ever since. This noble, hand-painted decorated box was created in the most beautiful handicraft limited from Meissen porcelain. A golden decoration frames hand-painted the edge of the tabatiere. When opened, the box reveals its true beauty: on the inside of the lid is a hand-painted copperplate engraving in rococo style - a wonderful reminiscence of Ridinger. This limited edition piece testifies to Meissen's high standards of its own craftsmanship. The detailed painterly staffing makes this box a particularly refined masterpiece in the edition of the same name from 2013. As part of the same, it is limited to 50 pieces in the finest Meissen craftsmanship.
