In graceful posture Leda sits on a tree trunk, the flowered cloak airily draped over the back and shoulders of her female figure. To her right is a swan, to which she lovingly drapes a large, hand-painted wreath of flowers. On the other side, the figure of a putto, which is watching the scene with amusement. What the beautiful Leda does not suspect at this moment: the proud swan is actually Zeus, father of all gods and men. A sculpture, which is beautifully hand-painted and masterfully embossed from the great wealth of ideas of the master modeler Kaendler and as a limited reissued figure is testimony to impeccable Meissen craftsmanship.
