With "The MEISSEN Mug Collection", MEISSEN presents a unique series of mugs comprising decorative motifs from more than 300 years of manufactory history. The "City Mug" series is dedicated to the iconic buildings of different cities which have been rendered as copper engraving-inspired artwork. The Frauenkirche takes centre stage for Dresden: a masterwork of the city´s Baroque period that espoused its nickname "Florence of the Elbe". The decorative lattice atop a yellow backdrop incorporates Meissen´s Crossed Swords, giving the world renown trademark a contemporary guise. As a vibrant homage, the mug lets the rich history of Europe´s oldest porcelain manufactory shine with every morning cup.
