Durability, resilience, and value-qualities attributed to both Meissen porcelain and bamboo-are reflected in this design. The gold décor was created by product designer Zhuoyu Hou, inspired by the art history of her Asian heritage. Bamboo, one of the famous "Four Gentlemen," was a central motif during the Song Dynasty (960-1279) and symbolizes elegance, perseverance, and inner strength.
