Single Figurine Golden Bird

The figurine "Golden Bird" shows a harlequin with a bird. It was modeled exclusively for the 300th anniversary of the MEISSEN^® manufactory by sculptor Jörg Danielczyk and lovingly hand-painted. Historically, the figure with the delightful bird quotes both the court jesters of Augustus the Strong, Joseph Fröhlich and Gottfried "Baron" Schmiedel, and Peter Strang's "Eulenspiegel". Hand-painted in complementary shades of blue and orange, it bears witness to exceptional craftsmanship. The figure holds a small bird - the symbol of happiness - in its hand for a moment before it flies away chirping. With love and dedication to the craft, this figurine is hand-painted in detail.
