Joie de vivre, music and dance. This is what comes to mind when looking at the figure "Japanese dancing" based on a model by Peter Reinicke from 1743. Contrary to the tradition of painting as realistically and true to detail as possible, designer Otto Drögsler has given the sculpture a modern zebra pattern. With a flowing movement, contrasting black and white lines follow the figure's prancing movements. The designer ensures that only the silhouette of the 15 cm high sculpture is recognizable, giving it a modern and unique appearance.
