To this day, Johann Joachim Kanedler's "Swan Service" from 1737 is created by hand in the Meissen manufactory and is also available in a painted version. With the baroque service, which was once commissioned by Heinrich Graf von Brühl, MEISSEN brings the table culture of the 18th century to the present day. This is also the case with the 0.25 litre "Gravy Boat", which is part of the opulent "Swan Service" with more than 2,200 Meissen porcelains. As with all the table porcelains designed for 100 people, the maritime theme of a pair of swan floating through reeds is decisive for the Sauciere. The baroque reliefs of the almost 300-year-old "Swan Service" also testify to the extraordinary craftsmanship and the quality of Meissen porcelain.
