description
Unique, traditional and elegant - this fine coffee cup and saucer comes from the world-famous "Swan Service" by the Meissen master modeller Johann Joachim Kaendler from 1737 onwards. The Baroque period was characterized by pomp and opulence, and its works of art left an impression of magnificent splendour. The tableware of the dinner service with the traditionally designed swan motif is capable of transporting this elegance into the present day. The detailed elaboration of the relief stems from the high standards of the Meissen quality promise, which offers more than 2,200 pieces belonging to the "Swan Service". As wonderful as the tableware from the famous dinner service is to combine with each other, this delicate coffee cup also shines on its own. The filigree relief traditionally depicts a pair of swans gliding through gently undulating waves and reeds. Here it is united in a monadic combination of top and saucer with a graceful dolphin handle on the coffee cup, making this beautiful tableware unique as part of Kaendler's magnificent dinner service.
