For more than three centuries, our artists have been inspired not only by the animal world, but also by the many different cultures. The figure "Korean woman" is an impressive example of the excellent craftsmanship. With much love and dedication, the noble white is transformed into a dynamic, Far Eastern everyday scene. The artist Gerhard Bochmann created the sculpture in 1953. Clear lines create a fantastic dynamic in the figure. She carries heavily on the carrying rod with two baskets, but her movement seems light-footed. Almost prancing, the sculpture "Korean woman" of delicate white goes on its way. The love of craftsmanship can be felt in every detail.
