Chinese Zodiac Signs Dragon

Maria Walther created the figure of the dragon in the collection "Chinese Signs of the Zodiac" and thus a real eye-catcher for Meissens Interior Design. In 2021, the artist dedicates herself to the Chinese legend and interprets it in a contemporary design language that comes into its own in any interior design. With each figure of the collection "Chinese Zodiac" she describes the legend of the great race, which was proclaimed by the Jade Emperor throughout the animal kingdom. The twelve animals that reached the finish line first were to be immortalized in the Chinese horoscope. The mighty dragon was expected to reach the other shore first, but on its way it passed a village that was suffering from a terrible drought. So the dragon made it rain before continuing on his way and finished fifth. The figure of the dragon from the collection "Chinese Zodiac" represents the qualities of strength, intelligence and courage and symbolically transports them into interior design.
