description
With the wall panel "Plio", the MEISSEN porcelain manufactory brings a work by German painter Karl Otto Götz (1914-2017) onto the finest porcelain - a dialogue between contemporary art and centuries-old craftsmanship. The large-format piece measures 75 cm in height and 55 cm in width and captivates through its striking reduction: black on white, sweeping lines that rhythmically traverse the surface.

Götz, co-founder of the ZERO group and one of the most important representatives of Art Informel, mastered the ability to translate energy and movement into a gestural, dynamic visual language. In "Plio", these qualities condense into a powerful composition that gains particular intensity through the contrast of black and white.

Transferred onto Meissen porcelain, the flowing lines unfold in an entirely new dimension: the pristine white surface becomes the stage for Götz's gestural painting, preserving the tension between order and dissolution. The wall panel thus becomes not only a testimony to 20th-century art, but also a symbol of how modern art and traditional porcelain mastery can merge in unique harmony.

A work of timeless elegance, appealing equally to collectors and art connoisseurs - the fusion of two worlds, captured in the finest Meissen porcelain.
