A symmetrical flower edging on the neck of the vase "Blue Dance" made of Meissen porcelain complements the dynamic decor of the vase, whose shape was first designed in the middle of the 18th century. In different shades of blue enfolds a delightful interplay of magical figures with earthly flora and fauna - an appealing contrast between fantasy and reality. Blue is known as the colour of the gods or the metaphysical since antiquity. It serves the mythical creatures pictured on the vase "Blue Dance" as inspiration for music or dance. With this extraordinary artwork, exclusively limited to 10 pieces, Olaf Hajek deliberately draws parallels to the colour world of Meissen's blue painting technique, one of the most traditional decors of the porcelain manufactory.
