The former chief sculptor of the Meissen porcelain manufactory Jörg Danielczyk created the figurine "The Dress". On 27 cm, you can see the high craftsmanship of the manufactory. With a lot of attention to detail, fine decoration underlines the elegance of the dress. Attached dots give the figurine "The Dress" an exciting complexity. The single figurine is a great Christmas present full of grace. Fashion is always a topic and can therefore be found in all epochs of figurative porcelain sculpture - from the shepherd look in the Rococo to the virtuously bourgeois clothes of the Biedermeier to the flowing garments in the Art Nouveau style.
