For more than 300 years, MEISSEN has played a leading role in European porcelain arts. Kaolin, the raw material for the production of brilliantly white porcelain, has been sourced for over 250 years from the manufactory’s own mine at Seilitz, just 15 km away. The entire production, both then and now, is carried out at a single location in Meissen’s Triebischtal valley. Germany’s high environmental and social standards apply throughout the entire process, making every piece of Meissen porcelain 100% made in Germany, and 100% responsibly produced.
