description
To this day, the "snowball blossoms" are among the outstanding decorations of the MEISSEN® manufactory. Created in 1739 at the behest of King August III for his wife Maria Josepha, the porcelain blossoms are reinterpreted as jewelry almost 300 years later.
Grace and elegance characterize the unique pieces of jewelry from MEISSEN® just as much as the combination of exquisite materials. With the "1739 Royal Blossom Pavé Collection", the finest 750 rose gold is combined with diamonds to make the traditional MEISSEN® subject of flowers shine in new splendor. The manufacture of jewelry at MEISSEN® can be traced back to the 18th century. Under the leadership of the royal court jeweler and goldsmith Johann Jacob Irminger, the manufactory produced beautiful necklaces, pendants and other fancy goods from white porcelain as early as 1714, just a few years after its discovery.
The "1739 Royal Blossom Pavé Collection" includes the necklace with diamond pendant shown here, matching stud earrings and, of course, a diamond ring. The "1739 Royal Blossom" collection with white diamonds are set in 750 rose gold. On request in white gold and yellow gold versions also available.
