Orangery Box Pineapple

The "Pineapple Can" is part of the Meissens "Orangery" series comprises six fruit-shaped etuis and one bowl in three decorative styles: naturalistic, monochrome, and gold decor. The latter two, with their harmonious scheme of muted colours, and gold discs, applied to highlight the pieces¿ sculptural appeal, offer a contemporary reinterpretation of the classic 18th-century figurines and their detailed, naturalistic embellishment. Both naturalistic and gold decor variants are hand painted, honouring MEISSEN¿s artisanal tradition.
