With "The MEISSEN Mug Collection", MEISSEN presents a unique series of mugs comprising decorative motifs from more than 300 years of manufactory history. In 2019, the series' second collection is dedicated to the traditional genre of bird painting on porcelain. Applied by hand to the Neoclassically inspired porcelain mug, "Chinoiserie Bird" features detailed artwork that was created based on historic chinoiserie designs. The mug is a vibrant homage to one of Meissen's most successful design motifs, bringing the rich history of Europe's oldest porcelain manufactory to life with every morning cup.
