With the figurine "Shiva", MEISSEN has created a masterpiece of porcelain sculpture, which translates the traditional Nataraja manifestation of the Hindu god into a modern contemporary formal language. MEISSEN shows Shiva as Nataraja, in the cosmic dance tandava, while one of his hands indicates the protective abhayamudra hand position. The curved arch in the middle of which the god dances symbolises the cosmos, whose entire inherent movement goes back to the rhythmic dance of the god. The process symbolises the creation, destruction and re-creation of the universe. With its radiant white, the figurine "Shiva" made of Meissen porcelain is a wonderfully contemplative gift for your loved ones.
