The figure "Jellyfish, White" by Max Hagstotz explores the possibilities of porcelain design with its uniquely curved form and is an eye-catcher that wonderfully expresses MEISSEN®'s exceptional craftsmanship. Trained under Jörg Danielczyk, the sculptor began training as a porcelain painter at the MEISSEN® manufactory at the age of 16. To this day, he is fascinated by the tradition of the formal language that characterizes his craft. The figure "Jellyfish" illustrates the special working method of the artist: only through the viewer, who puts his gaze on the pure white of the sculpture, exploring it in perfect splendor, the whole beauty as well as deeper meaning of his sculpture emerges.
