The bulldog designed by MEISSEN modeller Rudolf Rehbeil in 1955 enchants in a new decor with blue blossoms. Together with figurine painter Romy Kunath, designer Lena Hensel has now contributed to the theme of "Blooming MEISSEN" by breathing new life into Rehbeil's fierce-looking yet thoroughly good-natured dog. A mass of gold and blue flowers stretches freely up the body of the figurine made of Meissen Porcelain and is organically interwoven by gilded, intertwined stems.

On the single figurine "Bulldog", the Indian flowers, which were previously only a supporting decoration, become the main form of adornment for the figurine. In a departure from conventional figurine decoration, the exuberant colours in which the fanciful Indian flowers are usually depicted were remixed for the 16.5 cm high single figurine "Bulldog". As an expression of the highest craftsmanship, the figurine makes an excellent gift to express your very special appreciation.
