description
This Gourmet Plate, deep crafted from Meissen porcelain brings selected pieces of the Swan Service together in a harmonious ensemble. It provides a generous stage for refined culinary presentations and is especially suited to elevated modern table culture.
The Swan Service was designed from 1737 onward by master modeler Johann Joachim Kaendler for Count Heinrich von Brühl and, with more than 2,200 pieces, is considered one of the most elaborate Baroque ceremonial services ever created. Its relief of swans, reeds, shells, and water motifs gives the collection its unmistakable character.
Each piece is carefully shaped and finished by hand at the Meissen manufactory. The white version draws attention to the sculptural depth of the porcelain and emphasizes the timeless elegance of this special set.
