Originally created in 1955, the single figurine "Bulldog" by Meissen modeller Rudolf Rehbeil appears in a new floral dress with red flowers. The flowers grow freely up the 16.5 cm high figurine, complementing the golden tendrils in a natural way. Placed in this new context, the decorative Meissen Indian flowers have been transformed from an accessory to the main design element of the single figurine "Bulldog". Under the theme "Blooming MEISSEN", designer Lena Hensel and staffage painter Romy Kunath Rehbeils revived the four-legged figurine made of Meissen porcelain. The cheerful colourfulness of the imaginative Indian flowers with red blossoms is not played as a classically ornamental figural staffage in this decor, but reinterpreted.
