The tree decoration "Snowball Blossom Bell" combines the traditional artisanship of the Meissen porcelain manufactory with a reduced contemporary design on brilliant white Meissen porcelain. The iconic "Snowball Blossom" décor by Johann Joachim Kaendler is broken up and scattered irregularly over the brilliant surface of the bell. Kaendler developed the lavish historical décor in 1739 at the behest of Augustus III. as a gift for his great love. Even today, the Meissen modellers still master the immense skill required to create the fine "Snowball Blossoms". Each blossom is individually formed by hand and attached with the greatest care, so that the filigree flowers still symbolise love in porcelain to this day. In accordance with its charming history, the tree decoration "Snowball Blossom Bell" makes a wonderful gift for your loved ones.
