Flower painting is deeply rooted in the tradition of the porcelain manufactory MEISSEN^®en, has grown steadily in this and is still cultivated today. Especially during the Biedermeier period, many floral decorations were created. At that time, the porcelain painters of the manufactory used floral symbolism to express thoughts and feelings.
