New Cutout Ming Dragon Dinner Set 4-pc. red

The four-piece dinner set combines a motif with a clear colour. It consists of two dinner plates with red Ming dragon decor (Ø 28 cm) and two charger plates in solid red with a gold rim (Ø 33 cm). The dragon on the dinner plate takes centre stage, while the charger plate frames every course and brings the table together into a harmonious picture.

The dragon has shaped the world of Chinese porcelain since the Ming dynasty. In Chinese mythology it stands for strength, wisdom and change, combining supernatural power with the energy of yang. Inspired by this tradition, the MEISSEN porcelain manufactory translates the motif into a bold red that stands out immediately on the dinner table.

The dinner plates belong to the "New Cutout" shape, whose gently curved rim resembles delicate flower petals. This detail gives the tableware a soft line that also works well in everyday use. The decoration is hand-painted, and the handwork is visible in every piece.

The charger plates come from the Urban Colors collection and are based on the No. 41 shape, designed by the manufactory's studio. The colours were matched with existing MEISSEN decors and can be combined with numerous collections. The fine gold rim emphasises the clear contour and enhances the festive effect, while remaining discreet for everyday use.

Whether for a special evening or everyday meals, the set turns the table into an experience. It is suitable as a gift for a housewarming, wedding or Christmas. Anyone who wants to expand the set will find further single-colour plates in various sizes from the Urban Colors collection at MEISSEN.
