Find the perfect jewellery for her
#jewellerystories
  • Jewellery is undoubtedly one of the most popular gifts - whether for Christmas, anniversaries or other festive occasions. A timeless gift that not only emphasizes the elegance and uniqueness of the wearer, but also evokes deep emotions and unforgettable memories. In the early years after the founding of the porcelain manufactory, MEISSEN also began producing fashionable accessories from the newly discovered material - under the leadership of the then royal court jeweller and goldsmith Johann Jacob Irminger. Today, as then, the pieces of jewellery are made by hand using the finest craftsmanship. Classic motifs and decorations are combined with contemporary design language to create a unique beauty.

What you should consider when looking for the perfect jewellery gift for you: For most wearers, jewellery is about much more than aesthetic beauty. Rather, the fashionable accessories are an expression of individuality and personality - which means: jewellery has to tell a story! And who can tell more stories than we at the MEISSEN porcelain manufactory? Discover our jewellery collections below.

    "1722 Swords" Collection

The "Crossed Swords" are the historical signet of MEISSEN. In 1722, the then manufactory inspector Johann Melchior Steinbrück suggested using the swords of the Electoral Saxon coat of arms to distinguish the MEISSEN originals from other pieces - an iconic trademark and promise of the highest quality that is still applied to every single piece of porcelain today. In the "1722 Swords" jewellery collection, these crossed swords have been taken up and reinterpreted in various ways. Whether as "1722 Swords Insignum" with an elegant 750 rose gold frame, "1722 Swords Pavé" with brilliant 750 white gold or classically beautiful as "1722 Swords Basic".

    "Pearl Collection"

The porcelain pearls in the "Pearl Collection" are true masterpieces of MEISSEN craftsmanship. The secret is the so-called lustre paint, which is actually one of the oldest paint formulas of the manufactory - it has the property of reflecting the light like mother-of-pearl and thus imitating the shimmering shine and unique color depth of naturally occurring pearls. But the pearl also brings with it numerous myths and stories. Did you know that the pearl once helped the Egyptian queen, Cleopatra VII, to win a competition for the most expensive delicacy when she dissolved it in vinegar and drank it? That can't happen with our porcelain pearls. Nevertheless, our pearl jewellery, both as "Pearl Collection Pure White" and as "Pearl Collection Lilac", stands for wealth, luxury and perfection.
"I like for jewellery to tell a story and to be able to talk about what I'm wearing.“

  • "Bloom Collection"

Whatever man creates, the beauty of nature remains unsurpassed. That's what our designer Lena Hensel thought when she developed the unique pieces in the "Bloom Collection". Each piece of jewellery contains a different piece of porcelain that captures the development of a lily, from the first bud to the fully opened flower in precious white gold. A wonderful idea for true beauties with character!

    "1739 Royal Blossom" Collection

Grace, history and true love come together in this collection like no other. It was Augustus III, Elector of Saxony, King of Poland and son of Augustus the Strong, who wanted to give his beloved wife, the Electress of Austria, a very special treat. As a token of his love, he commissioned Johann Joachim Kaendler in 1739 to create a delicate flower made of white gold. The resulting snowball blossom, so delicate and graceful, can now be found in our "1739 Royal Blossom" collection in many different variations - whether with an embedded sapphire, ruby or brilliants - discover a very special love story and tell it to others.
