The "Tea Caddy Louis XIV" was launched on the occasion of the 300th anniversary of the death of the "Sun King". Coloured, detailed miniatures in the style of figure, hunting and landscape painting bring the past to life. The front shows the Sun King and his generals on horseback with a messenger delivering a message. The back is decorated with the Apollo fountain in the park of Versailles Castle. On the right a medallion with the portrait of the monarch and his signature decorate the box, on the left the symbol of the sun from the main gate of Versailles with the lettering "Roi Soleil". A lid in royal blue dotted with golden Bourbon lilies, the symbol of his noble family, forms the crowning glory of the box: a small showpiece that brings splendour to modern bourgeois everyday life. Limited to 25 pieces.
